Chana Dal Dosa



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Cup Chana Dal, soaked overnight
  • 1 Cup Rice, soaked overnight
  • 1" Ginger
  • 1 Tspn Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tspn Ajwain/ Carom Seeds
  • 1-2 Green Chillies or as per taste
  • Salt as per taste
 METHOD
  • Blend the pre-soaked chana dal and rice with the other spices. Add water to make a smooth batter. Do not make the batter too thick nor too thin. It should have a medium consistency.
  • Heat a tawa/ flat pan and grease it with oil. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread uniformly on the tawa.
  • Once, one side is cooked ,flip and cook other side till crisp.
  • Serve hot with sambar, any curry or simply coconut chutney.
