- 200gm Soya Chunks
- 1 Medium Sized Potato
- 1 Medium Sized Onion, thinly sliced onions
- 1 Tspn Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 Medium Tomato, pureed
- 1 Tspn Cumin Seeds
- 1 Tspn Garam Masala
- In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. As they crackle, add onions. Saute till they caramelize.
- Add ginger garlic paste. After raw smell disappears, add the tomato puree with turmeric and salt as per taste.
- When the oil starts leaving the masala mix, transfer the contents into a pressure cooker. Add the washed soya chunks along with potato (cut into 1” cubes). Add enough water to cover the contents.
- Cover the lid and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. It must e cooked upto an extent where the soya chunks become real tender.
- After pressure releases, open lid and add garam masala and chilli powder. Simmer till desired consistency is obtained.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice/roti.
