Masala Papad

INGREDIENTS

For The Masala

  • 1 Medium Onion, chopped finely
  • 1 Medium Tomato, chopped finely
  • 3-4 Sprigs of Coriander, chopped finely
  • 1 Tspn Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tspn Chat Masala or as per taste
  • 1 Green chilly or as many as per taste, chopped finely
  • Black salt as per taste
 3-4 Urad Dal Papads
Oil, for frying
 

METHOD
  • Add all the masala ingredients to a container and mix well. Check the taste and adjust the spices if necessary.
  • Heat oil and fry the papads till crisp. In case the papad is large in size, slice into four quarters.
  • Drain the excess oil by placing the fried papad on a kitchen towel.
  • Generously sprinkle the masala on each of the papad. Serve immediately, else the papad tends to turn soggy.
  • And munch away……!!
