INGREDIENTS
- 1 Medium Onion, sliced
- 1 Medium Carrot, sliced
- 4-5 French Beans, cut
- 1/2 Cup Green Peas
- 100gm Tofu, cut into cubes
- 1 Tspn Garlic, chopped finely
- 1 Tspn Ginger, chopped finely
- 1 Tspn Vinegar
- 1 Tspn Soya Sauce
- 1 Tspn Chilli Flakes
- 1 Tspn Cornflour, mixed with 2 tbspn water
- 1/2 Tspn Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Water
- Salt, as per taste
- Spring Onions, for garnishing
METHOD
- Heat a pan on high flame. Add oil and saute all the vegetables. Keep aside.
- Fry the tofu till slightly golden brown. Keep aside.
- Add oil (in case all the oil is used up) to the pan. Add ginger and garlic. Add vinegar, soya sauce, chilli flakes, salt and sugar. Saute for a while.
- Add water and the cornflour solution. Bring to a boil.
- Add the previously sauteed vegetables and tofu. Mix well. Let it simmer for a minute before switching off heat.
- Goes well with fried rice as well just plain rice.
