INGREDIENTS
- 15 - 20 Mint Leaves
- 2 Tbspn Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 Tbspn Simple Syrup (as raw sugar does not infuse completely in cold liquids)
- 1 Tspn Sugar, or as per taste
- Ice Cubes
- Drinking Soda or Ginger Ale, chilled
- Muddle the mint leaves .... take a glass (which will not break), place the mint leaves as well as the sugar at the bottom. The end of a rolling pin can be used as a muddler. Make sure it does not have lacquer or varnish on it (tends to come off ). Muddle gently till the smell of mint starts coming.
- Add the simple syrup and lime juice to it.
- Add ice cubes till half way of the glass. Then top with chilled soda or ale to it.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and mint leaves.
